Tsar Fedorsky
PHOTOSNACK #744

The work of Tsar Fedorsky radiates a rare emotional intensity — she transforms familiar landscapes and self-portraits into deeply felt meditations on memory, identity, and the passage of time.
Her mastery of printing techniques (like ziatype and washi paper) and careful control of light and texture make each image not just a photograph but a tactile, haunting experience that lingers long after you look away.
You can join Tsar at her upcoming Santa Fe online workshop (details below).
Until next time,

Excellent composition, lighting and leading lines are perfect!
Incredible feature on Fedorsky's tactile approach to landscape work. The insight about printing techniques like ziatype creating that haunted, almost temporal quality is spot-on becuase it shifts the conversation from capture to artifact. Most photographers dunno that the materiality of the print itself can carry as much emotive weight as compositon.
