I recently had the pleasure of meeting Michael Kenna at a gallery exhibition of his work in our hometown of Seattle, WA, where Michael also lives. He is a delightful person, and I’m now the proud owner of his book on trees!

No, I wasn't. I've only recently started taking my photography seriously (for fun, not profit) and my knowledge of contemporary photography is very thin. I'm on a steep learning curve so I'm finding these snacks to be a great inspiration. Thanks for your work, Tomasz.

I continue to be absolutely amazed at Kenna's meticulous attention to detail in his compositions. The fact that he works exclusively with film and a wet darkroom is a serious testament to his skills.
