Amazing photographer. All done with a little point and shoot camera, I believe. A great advert for the saying "the best camera is the one in your hand" who needs expensive cameras when you can get these results with a little Nikon Coolpix?
There was a great show of his work in Lausanne recently at Photo Elysée. It was one of his immersive experiences, including wall paper, collages and endless repeats of legs in stockings and all the things that have made Moriyama so iconic. A man who likes books more than prints, which seems 'normal' among photographers in Japan. Fabulous work.

I’ve admired Daido’s work for many years and met him in Houston at the Museum of Fine Arts where he was having and exhibition. A very nice gentle man.
If you haven't already, I highly recommend watching any of the documentaries or interview videos with him on screen.

One of my favorite photographers
It reminded me of Antoine d'Agata
Wowww I was just at ICP recently looking at some of his work
