These photographs have a gentleness that immediately pulls me in. Lithuanian photographer Tadas Kazakevičius works in a humanistic documentary tradition, photographing people and disappearing ways of life with warmth but without sentimentality.
His portraits, in particular, have a wonderful sense of dignity and stillness.
