Every Sunday, I contact photographers previously featured on PHOTOSNACK and ask them to send me their spontaneous thoughts, observations, reflections, or advice.
Today, I am sharing the message I received from Buzzy Sullivan.
Buzzy Sullivan
For the past 25 years, I've spent piles of time thinking about photos, making photos, and teaching about photos.
Aside from the teaching part, my art is solitary. I share pictures when I can with those who want to see them. It's not often.
Having my work shared on PHOTOSNACK came out of nowhere, and it was heartening to have people I don't know reach out with kind words of support.
I'll take pictures with or without attention, but it's rewarding to feel the warmth of a community in a sometimes isolating practice.
Buzzy Sullivan was featured in PHOTOSNACK #379.
Sunday Editions connect you with photographers whose work you previously explored through PHOTOSNACK.
I want to reveal some authentic parts of the people behind the cameras.
I don't ask them any specific questions. I ask them to share whatever comes to mind when they think about YOU, the newsletter readers.
It makes their responses genuine and personal.
I hope you enjoyed today's Sunday Edition.
Until next time,
Tomasz

That's how I feel about my writing. Probably why most of us creators are flocking to Substack.
I'm always looking forward to seeing wonderful photos.:)
