Nick Carver
PHOTOSNACK #933
Nick Carver photographs the overlooked edges of the American landscape—desert roads, fading storefronts, lonely buildings and sun-bleached spaces—with an extraordinary sense of precision, stillness and dry visual wit.
Working largely with medium- and large-format film, he turns places that might seem utterly ordinary into carefully composed studies of geometry, color and the strange beauty of human presence—or absence—in the landscape.
Thank you, Richard Pastenes, for recommending his work.
Until next time,
Tomasz
P.S. I am running a new project where I share seven photographs every single day.
