Nathan Bett’s work draws me in with its quiet intensity, whether he’s capturing the vast stillness of northern skies or the subtle moments of city life. There’s a sensitivity in how he sees both wilderness and people, and that balance keeps me coming back to his images.
You can join Nathan at his upcoming online workshop organized by Santa Fe Workshops (details below).
Until next time,
Tomasz
A big thank you to Santa Fe Workshops for supporting PHOTOSNACK.
Check out their Canon EOS R online workshop with Nathan Bett.
This online workshop, led by Nathan Bett and produced by Santa Fe Workshops, focuses on improving proficiency with Canon’s EOS R mirrorless system (specifically popular models such as R1, R3, R5, R5 II, R6, R6 II, and R7) and the many advanced features of RF lens technology. Explore the various settings for still and video, including the camera’s 5-axis In-Body Image Stabilizer (IBIS), lens Image Stabilization (IS), and autofocus lenses. Nathan provides hands-on, personalized guidance to those new to mirrorless technology as well as more seasoned photographers looking to elevate their technical camera skillset.
Spanning two weeks, this workshop provides the knowledge and confidence to fully utilize the Canon EOS R cameras, capturing professional-quality images in any setting.
Really like Nathan’s eye and his confidence as a photographer. When I take photos of Brooklyn streets during my daily walks I try to resist the urge (almost always unsuccessfully) to embellish the photos one way or another. It looks like all Nathan does is play with White Balance. Good for him.
