Michael Penn photographs the city with urgency - as if he knows that the people, storefronts and streets in front of him may not be there for much longer.
Hard contrast, dense frames and occasional roughness of his pictures - strong, personal work.

Thank you Thomasz for this Michael Penn presentation. Always good to see the work of photographers that I did not see in a detailed way.
Yesterday I visited an exposition of the Japanese artist DAIDO MORIYAMA at the recently opened new venue of the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson ( Rue des Archives 79 ) in Paris. I was impressed by his artistic and theoretic work.
Maybe a good idea to present MORIYAMA to a wider public in your Photosnack series?
