He produces some extraordinary and meaningful work. His most famous ongoing project is called American Geography. He documents life in communities of high poverty across the United States

Its been a long time since I have been moved in this manner....so reminiscent of the 1930's photography of Dorothea Lange and others...beautiful and tragic....we should be doing better ...
For me, some of the photos are strongly reminiscent of Dorothea Lange’s shots. Marvellous stuff.
