Martin Waldbauer
PHOTOSNACK #909
These photographs feel as if they were made slowly, with respect for faces, hands, landscapes, and the traces that time leaves behind.
Working with analogue cameras, darkroom printing, and old photographic papers, Martin Waldbauer creates black-and-white images in which rural life is shown not as nostalgia, but as something dignified, physical, and deeply human.
Thank you, Manfred Roth, for recommending his work.
Until next time,
Tomasz
