I will be the first to admit that Marc Wilson’s project, Eastern Europe 2015-2020, resonates particularly strongly with me because I can personally and emotionally relate to many elements and stories in his photographs (I grew up in communist Poland).
However, all of his other portfolios confirm his excellence not only in visual storytelling but also in purely photographic compositional skills.

The one you chose as cover is just fantastic! I can relate to the others too, though I grew up in the West, in Vienna, but this was always a bridge to the East. And also, some of the landscapes and scenes photographed here are not unlike some you find in Vienna and its suburbs, because there is of course a Vienna beyond the glitz.
I'm a big fan of Marc's work, his project The Last Stand is so good.
