There is something “Saul Leiter-ish” about the photography by Jonathan Bertin. His vivid, painterly photographs of everyday life, are made in places ranging from Normandy and Paris to New York and Seoul.

Through colour, blur, reflections, and fleeting light, he turns ordinary streets and landscapes into images that feel somewhere between photography and memory.
