If you’ve ever needed a reason to fall in love with photography again, let it be Joel Meyerowitz.
His work has this rare aliveness—joyful, alert, and generous. Whether he's capturing the chaos of street life or the quiet of Cape Cod light, there's always a sense that he’s fully present, fully seeing.
His photographs remind me that the ordinary world is full of magic if you know how to look.
Until next time,
Tomasz
As a native Bostonian (US/MA), I was blown away by the collection "Cape Light" back in 1978. Now living in southern CA, I sometimes flash on those images as I walk the beach on a perfect clear day. Different ocean, same glory.
Thanks for bringing this great talent to your readers, Tomasz! 👏
I fully agree, Tomasz.
I would add that he is a gifted teacher, and inspirational in his presentations, generous in sharing his own experience as a means to bridge the gap between the enthusiast photographer and the accomplished professional.
