Hedda Morrison
PHOTOSNACK #860
Hedda Morrison was a German-born photographer best known for her remarkable work in China, where she photographed Beijing and its surrounding regions from 1933 to 1946 with rare patience, clarity, and sensitivity.
Her images of temples, markets, streets, architecture, and everyday people offer not only a historical record of a changing world, but also a deeply human body of photography shaped by quiet observation and beautifully disciplined composition.
Thank you, David Morgan, for recommending her work.
Until next time,
Tomasz
