There are no living things in his photos, so it looks like decorations. But I wouldn't want to think that Hans-Christian is a misanthrope.
I wouldn’t see that as misanthropy. In his photographs, the absence of people feels more like a deliberate way of focusing our attention on space, structure, and mood rather than on human presence itself.
