Greg Girard
PHOTOSNACK #881
I really like the way Greg Girard turns artificial light into both subject and atmosphere: sodium-vapor amber, fluorescent green, and the washed-out glow of late-night interiors give his urban scenes a color palette that feels discovered rather than imposed.
His photographs are quietly precise in how they frame overlooked streets, rooms, and disappearing architecture, using stillness, layered spatial detail, and the tension between the natural and the built worlds to make cities feel simultaneously ordinary, vulnerable, and unforgettable.
Thank you, Jim Miu, for recommending his work.
Until next time,
Tomasz
