Eric Meola’s photographs are a masterclass in using color as structure. Bold, saturated hues, precise compositions, and carefully observed light turn landscapes, people, storms, and everyday scenes into remarkably graphic images.
His work is a wonderful reminder that color photography becomes most powerful when color is not simply recorded, but actively used to organize the frame and direct the eye.
