Eduardo Ortiz
PHOTOSNACK #879
Eduardo Ortiz’s photographs turn ordinary street life into something wonderfully precise, with gestures, colors, shadows, and small human moments all falling naturally into place.
I like how his work feels lively and spontaneous, yet always carefully seen — as if he is waiting for real life to briefly compose itself in front of him.
Thank you, Isabel Castellanos, for reminding me of Eduardo’s work.
Until next time,
Tomasz

Hello! I enjoy looking at the photographer’s work you post. Although I like to learn a modicum of info about the technical aspects of a work and its creation to inform my own photography , I find that when these discussions enter the conversation ( How was Lightroom used? Which aspects of the RAW image were changed?) they just go so completely overboard and technical that I zone out. So my question is this: do you know of any pages/photographers/sites that would offer this type of discussion? For example, I would like to see a RAW image then a processed image with BRIEF notes about how it was altered, if that makes sense. I look at the images of the photographers you feature and enjoy that but if images seem highly processed they don’t interest me much because working on a computer is not the part of photography I enjoy, tho I recognize there are people highly skilled in that work. If you know of any place where folks are involved in looking at and discussing photos in this way please let me know. Thanks!
