Didier Goupy’s photographs make me slow down; there is a quiet, almost meditative quality to the way he moves between landscape, abstraction and the human presence.
I especially like how his images often feel less concerned with describing the world than with suggesting something just beneath its surface — memory, solitude, mystery, or simply the experience of looking.
Thank you, Jonathan Mandelbaum, for recommending his work.
Until next time,
Tomasz
