David Moore was a master of mid‑20th-century Australian documentary and photojournalism, working predominantly in rich black-and-white. His lens captured gritty urban scenes of post-war Sydney—slums, waterfronts, everyday people—with a keen sense of form, light, and emotional depth
He passed away in 2003.
