Clyde Butcher’s black-and-white landscapes have a quiet power to them—huge, detailed, and full of stillness. His images of wild places like the Everglades feel less like photographs and more like invitations to slow down and really look.
Thank you, Daniel Ladd, for recommending his work.
Until next time,
Tomasz
If you are ever in Miami, Clyde Butcher has his gallery on Tamiami Trail. Many of his wonderful photos are on display there.
I discovered his work during a trip in Florida and visited his gallery on Tamiami Trail in the Everglades. Fantastic work !
