Charles Mason
PHOTOSNACK #815
What I like about Charles Mason’s work is that it moves so freely between worlds—Paris streets, zoos, circus, ravens, Alaska, photojournalism—and yet it all feels held together by the same restless curiosity and sharp eye.
I’m especially drawn to the way his photographs seem both experienced and alive at the same time, as if they come from someone who has spent decades really looking and still hasn’t lost the pleasure of discovery.
Thank you, Hal Gage, for recommending his work.
Until next time,
Tomasz

Thanks again!
These are fabulous! He has a really sharp eye, great reflexes and real depth on composition and lighting. A pleasure to behold.
