What draws me into Charles Cramer’s landscapes is the light. It never feels decorative; it seems to quietly reorganize the whole scene, turning rocks, trees, mist, and water into something almost musical.
Maybe it is not accidental: Charles trained seriously as a classical pianist before devoting himself to photography, and I can somehow feel that sensitivity to tone, balance, and interpretation in his prints.
Thank you, Waymond Fong, for recommending his work.
Until next time,
Tomasz
