I love the ethereal quality of his work. It puts me in the mind of an exhibition I saw in Nashville, and what Luftwerk | Petra Bachmaier and Sean Gallero are doing with light or what they call “The simultaneous presence of the visible and invisible.”
Have always loved his work including his words. Of late perhaps a little too minimalist for my own tastes .. but as I say, that’s my issue. I hear his prints are stunning to see in person. Defiantly worth spending a bit of time, perhaps supping a little Smokey dram, going back through his work. It was in fact my discovery of his images from Harris way back when, that led me to the islands myself.
