I love how Arno Rafael Minkkinen turns his own body into part of the landscape. His photographs are strange, precise, and often almost impossible-looking, yet they remain beautifully simple. They are less about self-portraiture than about our physical connection with the natural world.
Thank you, Françoise Muller-Robbie, for recommending his work.
Until next time,
Tomasz

Fix Flat or Difficult Lighting with Luminar
Lighting can make or break a photo—but it doesn’t have to.
Luminar Neo includes tools like Light Depth that help recover details, balance exposure, and restore depth in challenging lighting conditions.
It’s a way to reshape light after the moment has passed.
Not every shot happens in perfect conditions. Luminar Neo helps you correct underexposed subjects, overly bright backgrounds, and flat images by intelligently adjusting light across different areas of the photo. This gives you more flexibility and control—even after shooting.
Bring balance and depth back into your photos.
Unique, very well done, interesting compositions, and subject matter. But, not my cup of tea though.
Dear Tomasz...an amazing work of photographic art. I had to stop at each image and really think about it. Arno Minkkinen is brilliant.
