Alexey Titarenko’s images use long exposures, deep blacks, and soft movement to transform ordinary streets into haunting, lyrical scenes. His play of light, shadow, and motion makes the city feel at once timeless and alive.
Thank you, Sam Saoub, for recommending his work.
Until next time,
Tomasz

It tires of long viewing of these photos - too many shadows sometimes. For example, look at this photo of Riga amateur photographer Eugenie Heifec https://www.rvr.anagr.com/RVR/Avtory/Pages/Evgenij_Hejfec.html#12. Shadows of people are fleeting, but the obelisk and trees are timeless.
By the way, amateur photographers could be interesting too, sometimes. Is it?
I particularly liked the series 'Nomenclature of signs'. With all that is going on in the world today, Ukraine, Palestine and elsewhere it seems the purpose of this series is ripe for being repeated today. If nothing else, to remind us that nothings really changed.
